9TH ANNUAL LAKE TAHOE SKI TRIP, Feb. 22-25, 2007 Please join Southern California Friends, Bay Area Friends and Northern Nevada Friends for the ninth annual Lake Tahoe ski trip. Besides the beautiful scenery and excellent skiing, it’s a great way to have fun and make some new friends! Lake Tahoe is the most beautiful Alpine Lake in the world. It sits in a valley at an elevation of 6,229 feet. This breathtaking clear blue lake is surrounded by magnificent Sierra mountains that are covered with evergreen forests and tower 10,000 feet above sea level. The Lake Tahoe Basin is favored with tons of superb snow in the winter, long warm days in the summer and an average of 76% sunny days year-round. Lake Tahoe borders California and Nevada and is located just 200 miles east of San Francisco and only 45 miles southwest of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
