First Friday for the 50+ Crowd at the Oakland Museum, Friday, March 7, 5-9 PM

BAF Newbies Meet 'N Greet in San Francisco, Sunday, March 16, 5-8 PM

Hail fellow BAFs:

I'm organizing a little event for myself and all fellow newbies. We've decided to host a get-together at The Little Shamrock.in the inner sunset.

It's a mellow pub (But I can't guarantee how mellow any Irish pub will be on the evening before St. Patrick's Day ;-) This place is great: board games, beer, and good conversation.  The perfect set-up to welcome new members such as myself. If you don't drink, don't worry - just come to make a few friends and have some fun! Newbies and ALL fellow H-ers are welcome.

Look for the Blue Balloons!.

The English Beat at The Mezzanine in San Francisco, Saturday, March 22 @ 9 PM

Pirate Party!  Julie's Avon Breast Cancer Walk Fundraiser, Los Gatos Hills, Saturday, March 29

Argghh!  Shiver me timbers, it's time once again for our annual fundraiser for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer!  This year it's a Pirate Party aboard the Black Pearl complete with pirate punch and a feast fit for the King's Navy.  Show up in your finest pirate garb or improvise from your own treasure chest.  There will be fun and games and prizes for best costume.  Show up or we will hunt ya' down and make ya' walk the plank!

Pirate Attire Not Required!  (just encouraged!)

Cost includes Feast and Grog:

- $20 per person if RSVPd and paid before March 25th
- $30 per person if RSVPd and paid before March 28th
- $40 per person if RSVPd and paid at the door

BYOB if you prefer something else to drink besides Pirate Punch.

All money raised will go to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer July 12 - 13 in San Francisco.  Last year we had 7 walkers on our team, this year we aiming for 14!  Help us raise the money so we can walk for such a great cause and have fun while doing it!

This has always been such a fun party with jello shots, a kissing committee and Yami the Mistress of the Paddle. Don't expect this year to be any less fun!  Oh and the hot tub will be on so bring a bathing suit and towel if you're interested in soaking.

March Sunset Sunday Happy Hour in San Francisco, Sunday, March 30, 2008, 4 PM - ?

Hey Everyone! At the Phoenix last month there was a lot of talk about a get together at the Beach Chalet and I've had a couple of people contact me to ask when we'd be doing that. So, without further ado, please join us for Sunset Sunday at the Beach Chalet!

The Beach Chalet is at 1000 Great Highway @ Ocean Beach San Francisco, CA 94121. http://www.Beachchalet.com 

We'll be there at 4pm with Blue Balloons - if it is nice outdoors, please look for us on the patio.

I know that this will be the same weekend as Julie by the Beach's incredible Pirate Party, but let's face it, those of us who make it down to the party will be despondent that the party has ended and will need something to look forward to on Sunday and those of us who weren't able to make it will also need something to look forward to, so as you can see, this is a completely win-win situation.
